Pizza Pizza – Our Reader’s Picks

By Brandi Christoffersen

Dine-In, Take-Out, Delivery— Americans love their pizza. And our little part of the Wasatch Back is no exception. From local restaurateurs to national chains, here are some of our reader’s picks.

Pizza Bagel
So simple, so good! This inexpensive but satisfying lunch is a specialty at The Bagel Den in Heber. Choose between pepperoni or cheese on your favorite bagel. Select a side item of chips, fruit cup or deli salad.

The Green 4
Vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike adore the combination of Este Park City’s spinach, tomato, red onion and garlic pizza. And our vegan readers recommend the Vegan White with olive oil, garlic, oregano, tomato, red onion and vegan mozzarella.

Bianco Fresco
This goat cheese pizza is baked with garlic oil, prosciutto, kissed with fire and topped with arugula, dressed with lemon juice, garlic oil and Parmesan cheese and can be found at “the famous” Cucina Rustico’s Food Truck. Check their truck tracker for locations.

The 26” Coronary
With a 26-inch option, Big Daddy’s Pizza serves the largest pizza in the area. This Coronary is perfect for large parties or sleep-overs and is overflowing with marinara, pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, beef and bacon. Dainty eaters beware!

Red Banjo Special
Red Banjo’s signature pizza combines Canadian bacon, pepperoni, sausage, onions, fresh mushrooms, black olives and green peppers. Local’s Tip: Squeeze a lemon on top!

Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch
This popular pizza from Domino’s pairs the subtle flavor of bacon with garlic Parmesan white sauce, grilled chicken breast, tomatoes and mozzarella and provolone on a cheesy provolone crust. You can order online for easy delivery.
